Since the 1980s, he has served in critical leadership roles across major human services organizations in Pennsylvania, including director, program director, CEO, and executive vice president positions. His academic background includes an MS in Leadership from Duquesne University, where he strengthened his commitment to transforming behavioral healthcare systems.
Stoesz’s career spans comprehensive work with substance use disorder (SUD) and behavioral health facilities serving children, adolescents, adults, and families. His early contributions in program development and his training as a professional intervention specialist reflect a deep understanding of clinical systems and a compassionate connection to the individuals and communities he serves.
A proven strategist, Stoesz has consistently driven business growth, competitive market expansion, and successful operational turnarounds in complex environments. His expertise includes regulatory and accreditation oversight, performance improvement, budgeting, acquisition planning, and successful integration of new programs and facilities. In addition, the strategic leadership principles and operational frameworks he has refined throughout his career will directly support the development and success of The Turn, guiding the organization as it establishes high‑quality, compliant, and patient‑centered care from day one.

With more than two decades of experience in behavioral health operations, Robert Tomasiello is recognized for his deep expertise in substance use disorder (SUD) residential treatment and his leadership in driving operational excellence across complex care environments. His career includes key roles overseeing diverse cross-functional teams within leading behavioral health organizations, where he has implemented initiatives that elevate both clinical delivery and organizational performance.
Tomasiello brings a strong operational mindset grounded in collaboration, data-informed decision-making, and evidence-based practice. His leadership is marked by an ability to streamline processes, enhance service quality, strengthen interdisciplinary coordination, and build systems that support sustainable, high-performing care environments.

Marjorie Pettingell MSW, LICSW
Chief Compliance Officer
Marjorie “Margie” Pettingell is an accomplished behavioral health executive with extensive clinical, regulatory, and administrative expertise. A licensed independent clinical social worker, she has dedicated her career to improving patient care, strengthening organizational compliance, and advancing high‑quality clinical standards across behavioral health systems.
Margie’s leadership background includes serving as Senior Vice President of Compliance and Quality for a national behavioral health organization operating more than 500 beds across the full continuum of SUD services. She also previously served as a Lead Administrator for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where she oversaw complex systems, collaborations, and health service operations.
A trusted leader in compliance, regulatory navigation, and quality improvement, Margie has worked closely with state agencies, private providers, and community organizations to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care. She is known for her strong advocacy for best practices, her dedication to ethical healthcare delivery, and her ability to build systems that support both clinical excellence and organizational integrity.
In her role as Chief Compliance Officer, Margie leads regulatory oversight, quality assurance, risk mitigation, and the development of policies that uphold the highest standards of patient safety, clinical practice, and operational compliance.
